If you're a friend of Patio, then you undoubtedly know one of our most senior employees, Kim Doan.
And if you know Kim, then you know she is one of the reasons why Patio can operate at such a high level of client care. This is why we're thrilled to announce that she recently was promoted to the position of Director of Digital Accounts. Along with a prestigious change of titles on her email signature, this means that Kim will continue her fantastic work with clients while also getting the chance to lead larger projects with the digital accounts team.
In her own words, Kim is more than ready to take on the new opportunities and challenges of the position.
"I'm excited to step into this new role and further elevate my leadership skills and knowledge so I can better support the team. As we slowly come out of this pandemic and grow as a company, I hope to help guide Patio in continuing to support our clients in the best way we can."
It's a move that's well deserved and one that we know Kim will shine in.
"Kim is an amazing accounts manager. Not only is she an integral part of our team, but she also is a key member of our client's team. They know they can rely on her for everything from last-minute ad requests to overall strategy recommendations for digital campaigns," says our Managing Director and Founder, Megan Halkett.
We could easily fill an entire article with the Patio crew singing Kim's praises, but we don't want to embarrass her. However, one of Kim's clients, Tourism Vancouver, also wanted to share a few well wishes about the promotion.
TVan's Candice Gibson has worked with Kim for four years now, "Working with Kim, I have always felt that our projects were in very good hands. We often have referred to Patio as an extension of our marketing team, and that is largely due to Kim's calm management style, her deep understanding of our business and partnerships, and an earnest sensitivity to her clients' needs."
While we don't want to go overboard with how much of an asset Kim is to the Patio team, we know her modest nature would never let her brag- so that's why we're doing it for her!
